patterns and colors will be different due to available fabrics...
the underside of quilt is generally one color while the top is a variety of colors....
here is a rag quilt done in different flannels with no batting... great quilt for the desert climate when it actually does get cool... excellent quilt for cold climates without a lot of weight!
quilts come in various sizes:lap quilts - great for when watching tv or sitting by the fire
picnic quilt - great for all kinds of outings or needs
bedding quilts - to cover the bed or at the end of the bed for extra warmth
